WHAT SOME ARE SAYINGI knew with the first project Kathleen tackled in my home that I would want her to do more. She has the remarkable ability to figure out what I want and put it into action. Every time I look at the work she's created, it makes me smile. Whenever I look at a blank surface or a wall, I wonder what Kathleen could do with it. I love having her in my home doing her magic.I feel blessed having her and her creations in my life. Sandi Todd Atlanta, Georgia With the birth of my twin daughters in year 2000, my wife and I wanted to make their room special, and representative of who they were. So in decorating, we wanted to express a lot in a very small area. I had known Kathleen Denson and her work as an artist for some time, and so she was the logical choice to go to for an opinion. Kathleen immediately read into our feelings and enthusiasm for our newborns, and since we had so little room already with two cribs, changing table and dresser in an 11' x 11' room, space was not a luxury. So Kathleen suggested to use some thing we had plenty of," Walls". My wife and I gave Kathleen total creative freedom. We knew that what ever Kathleen would create, we would not want to leave behind if we sold our house, based on her portfolio, her art work was much too beautiful and valuable. we wanted our twins to have it for ever. So Kathleen went to work on a creation that stunned my wife and I. Kathleen painted an 11' x 5' Mural on canvas, of a pasture, with trees, long grass and flowers blowing in gentle breeze. A lily pond, 2 lambs, two rabbits, ducklings, and birds all playing, swinging and swimming. Kathleen brought such life to the canvas, her choice of beautiful jewel tone colors, the expression on the faces of the birds, and the animals, and the mix of colors of the pasture was so real. The art has so much positive expression that when we enter the room, even after 7 years, it brings joy to our faces. Kathleen installed her creation on the twins bedroom wall behind the cribs, now the beds, and hand painted the extension of the tree branches on either sides of the mural on the adjacent walls. Kathleen's creation is priceless, she captured every bit of our thoughts, joy and imagination on canvas for ever. We are so grateful to her.
